Ice-skating
Because of the winter temperatures in the Kronplatz holiday region, there are lots of natural ice rinks. Leave tracks on the smooth mirrored surface – this is the stuff both kids and adults dream of. There are ice rinks in the Reischach sports park, in St. Lorenzen, and in the ice stadium in Bruneck. Ice skates are available for hire at all ice rinks.
Curling
This ancient traditional sport is widely popular in South Tyrol. Especially in the wintry regions – when the first below-zero temperatures create the best curling conditions – you will see the passionate curlers on the ice with their heavy stones. And curling is big in the Kronplatz holiday region! There are ice rinks reserved for curling in Reischach and Stefansdorf where you can try out the sport for yourself.
