The Puster Valley and the Kronplatz are perfect for more leisurely cycle tours in the valley on a mountain bike. You will enjoy cycling in the Puster Valley in the extensive valley basin around Bruneck and the gentle hilly landscape around our hotel. The approx. 300m network of cycle paths is especially popular. There are about 30 bike rental shops where you can hire the right vehicle. E-bikes are also quite on trend! You can use a Mobilcard – a multi-ticket for the train, bus and bike rental – which is ideal for bike trips.
Some of the most beautiful biking routes for cycling in the Puster Valley:
- Up high in the Puster Valley: Get the train from Bruneck to Innichen and then cycle back to Bruneck. Along the cycle path, make a stop at the Kneipp facility in Niederdorf – a welcome refreshment!
- Cycle path to Lienz: This path is particularly flat and so is also suitable for children!
- To the Tauferer Ahrntal: It’s a flat, bright cycle path to Sand in Taufers, and from there you can visit Taufers Castle which is worth seeing. This route is also a great adventure for children.
- To Lodenwelt: This shady route for the summer has several easy and downhill stretches and leads to Lodenwirt in Vintl, where you can visit the Lodenwelt museum and the Capriz dairy.
